last night we had a pumpkin carving party at nannie's house. it was a lot of fUn! have i mentioned my immense love for halloweem?? wow.. it's just one of the best holidays out there, and pretty much i HEART anything to do with it.

this year has been an especially fun one, because we have miss moos to celebrate it with! i think she might love halloween as much as i do.. so don't let the above picture fool you. she was just at her ropes end when this photo was snapped and really was quite enjoying the pumpkin until this moment. all in all it was a great night, with some mad carving skills involved!

this is not a posed picture in the least. minie is officially daddy's clone. who knew the finger sucking was genetic?? i would maybe like to pretend it bothers me that she's taken to this habit, but truth be known i L O V E it! i just think she looks so adorable when she does it, and the smacking and slurping sound that accompanies the sucking it just to endearing to even handle.

Thriller

Last night the Jackson family all went to Thriller. It was a fun night out, and because children under 5 are not invited, it was a bit of a date night out :).

I love, love, LOVE going to Thriller. It's one of my top favorite things to do during the holidays (yes, I do consider Halloween one of the holidays...). The dancing is always incredible, and it's just altogether a good time! If you ever have a chance to go, take it! You'll be hooked, and probably end up going every year...

Park City Outlets

Thursday we had a lovely afternoon up at the outlets in Park City. It was blustery, and cold, and wonderful! I always love the cold when it comes.. I don't know, the change of the seasons is very therapeutic for me, and there was no place better to enjoy than in Park City.

We all had a grand ole' time, and on a side note it was the first time I really had whip out some of Min's winter clothes!!!

Project

As the weather has gotten colder here I decided it was time to get Min's her long sleeved onsies. If you have learned anything from the pictures I post of my little lovey girl on here, you should know I'm not the biggest fan of anything "plain jane". So there I was some what dreading having to dress her in such a boring thing as a plain white onsie when a lovely idea popped into my head!

Below are pictures of this little brain child of mine.. I really can't take full credit for these cute things, because I don't really sew. I took the idea to my lovely, very talented Mom and she pretty much whipped them out in no time. The only thing I did is the sleeves on the brown paisley print... and if you look closely my sewing job is horrorendus!

But I think these things are my new project, beginner stage 1. I really want to learn how to sew baby clothes.. I know I'm quite a ways from sewing an actual outfit, but this is a start!!!

How hand puppets dancing across the TV screen to the soundtrack of

xylophone Mozart is as enthralling as it is to my 3 month old daughter is beyond me...

She LOVES it.

I know that the whole Baby Einstein co. has been slammed for having no scientific proof to back up their product, blah, blah, blah.... Science or not, they have some how come up with a way to make my 3 month old actually shout out with glee while watching a zebra puppet get covered in sand. Oh... and not to mention, the second it turns on Duke is all eyes as well. Whatever they've done, my babies love it, and for that reason I will continue purchasing those DVD's!

Punkin Patch

Thursday we went to the pumpkin patch . We've been trying for about a week to make this trip, and finally it happened. We've been going to this particular "patch" for years, and it just keeps getting better and better . They've even added a very spooky "spook alley", and really uped the anti with their curb appeal. They mean business... unfortunately for them their curb appeal was just that. We only used the patch for our fall back drop for these lovely pictures you're veiwing. Yep, that's right. No pumpkins or corn stalk were purchased in light of Jude's birthday. His present took up all the space in the car, leaving no room for the main event. Oh well.. it was still very fun non the less.
