WALL-E

since about christmas jude has had an unatural love for disney-pixar's WALL-E. he some how caught a glimpse of a short preview somewhere and it was pretty much love at first sight. countless trips to target/wal-mart/toys'r us have been made in search of new WALL-E parapharnalia and many more hours were spent on the computer watching pre-view after pre-view in anctipation for the opening.

needless to say, friday was a HUGE day for anyone related to jude. kennan made sure we all had our tickets purchased days in advance, and all of jude's supporters took up nearly an entire row. yes, even miss mins attended!

first of all, the movie was great.

i'm a sucker for the pixar movies myself, and WALL-E did not disappoint. minie actually sat through the entire film, and even laughed out loud at parts.... go figure. i recommend all to go see... you will all fall in love with that darling robot!

kennan in a rush to make it to the 5:30 pm showing of the movie forgot her camera, so i happily was there for back up and got some shots of jude's big day.

wow.

i found this blog today while surfing about, and knocked out a good hour and a half reading not even half of it. this woman is an INCREDIBLE writer, had me in tears at times, and seems to be writing my current-20+ years life story.

this blog is a MUST read for any mother and is immediately being added to my favorites.

this time next week my girl is going to be one and at the moment it has me quite down. she is my boo bos and i can't believe how old she has gotten.

i thought she was so big when i took these (7 mo)......

...but let's all just remember.

today i took minie for a photoshoot and i shot this in between moving from spot to spot.

look at this girl... i could not handle her near nakedness in the stroller.

i think she's pretty yummy.

Piggys

well, minie all of the sudden grew hair and apparently i didn't notice??

my mom and sister informed that it was high time i started actually doing it, and the past few days have been days of experimenting.

yesterday we tried some piggys for the first time. they are a little rough around the edges and i think we are still about a month out until they make it on the menu for hair do's....

however,

Hey Giirrl!!

It's a girl!

We had our "big" ultrasound today, and it was confirmed many times over that we are having another little girl :).

She, just like her sister was not shy in flashing her privys and the ultrasound tech told us with much assurity that most definately she is female. She was moving like crazy (much thanks to the mexican Coke I downed before arriving) and we got to see almost every anatomical feature she posseses. I think she is darling of course, and believe that at a mere 17w5d she is already starting to sport the edible chubby cheeks of our eldest. All I have to say is thank you, and hopefully!

We are so thrilled to be having another little girl and I am already envisoning the matching outfits she and Minie will own. Dustin believes he has lucked out in the no new clothes department with us already owning a baby girl wardrobe bigger than both of ours... *SIGH*... he has harsh reality headed his way.

Little missy moo #2 is already so loved and wanted. The scan really hit it home for me today.. I am actually pregnant, and I might even actually like her as much as Minie... We'll see :)

Minie finally moves!! Hurray.

She has been "crawling" for about 2 weeks now and yes, you were all right... my life is now much more difficult. However, this darling face smiling up at me makes all of her new found micheive worth it. I adore watching her worm (because really that's the more appropriate word) about the house, and to watch her test her boundaries of comfort. Sadly her new talent is mostly wasted on chasing Mom from room to room...what can I say??

I just love her.
